
The National Center for Health Product Certification (CNCps) has published itsLetter of Services for the period 2023-2026In order to bring the functions and tasks of citizens and user persons closer to each other:
- Monitoring and control of medical devices and diagnostic medical devicesin vitrocertificates in accordance with the implementing directives.
- CE certification of medical devices and medical devices for diagnosisin vitrowith regard to the relevant regulations.
- Voluntary certification of the quality systems of companies in the health products sector.
Through this document, in addition, the CNCps informs of the services provided and the quality commitments assumed in relation to them, as well as the rights of the users and the citizens in relation to the competences of this body.
Quality management is a key aspect in the continuous improvement of the services offered by CNCps, therefore the Center has the accreditation of ENAC according to the UNE-EN ISO 17021 standard for the certification of product quality management systems.
Likewise, as a sign of its involvement, the agency will carry out and publish on its website the annual monitoring of the degree of compliance with the commitments declared in its Charter of Services.
With the publication of its Charter of Services, the CNCps complies with theRoyal Decree 951/2005, of 29 July, establishing the general framework for quality improvement in the General Administration of the State, which integrates a set of programs including the one related to service letters. The aim of these instruments is to improve the quality of public services, to provide public authorities with consolidated information for decision-making and to promote transparency through information and public dissemination of the level of quality offered to users.
The CNCps Charter of Services 2023-2026 has been approved by the resolution of the Undersecretary of Health, after a favourable report from the General Directorate of Public Governance (Ministry of Finance and Public Service). This resolution has been published in the Official State Gazette, which gives an account of the approval of the letter and its availability to citizens.
